I produced these cutouts of Defence Minister Magnus Malan, President P.W Botha and Pik Botha for a protest on the University of Cape Town campus in April 1997.  

The police invaded the UCT campus in retaliation to this student march. Teargas and rubber bullets were used against 100’s of students. The police chased and sjamboked students on campus. This resulted in over 500 students marching into the suburbs and torching vehicles. Arrests followed.
